LesHub is in development. Some answers below describe planned behaviour and are marked accordingly.
Please include your platform (macOS or iPhone), app version, the source type (local / SMB / Baidu), and what you expected to happen. Do not send passwords, BDUSS cookies, or verification codes.
Availability
LesHub is launching soon and is not available for download yet. The first release is planned for macOS and iPhone on the App Store. This website does not distribute builds, test profiles, or beta invites.

Accounts and sign-in
Email sign-in uses a six-digit code. Sign in with Apple is planned as an equivalent option. Native WeChat sign-in is planned for the China release and requires the WeChat app; it is not available in the global first release. When WeChat is unavailable, email and Apple sign-in remain the fallback.
WeChat, Apple, and email identities are linked to a LesHub account on the server. On iPhone, native WeChat login returns a one-time code to our server; the app never receives your WeChat password.
Subscriptions, trials, and purchases
- Free plan: local folders and SMB, up to two sources, core playback, SRT/VTT.
- Pro: monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The annual plan is planned to include a 7-day free trial.
- Lifetime: one-time non-consumable purchase. No trial.
- Pro and Lifetime include up to three active devices.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Manage or cancel in App Store subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy; LesHub cannot issue Apple refunds directly.
- Use Restore Purchases in the app after reinstalling or changing devices.
Pricing has not been announced yet. We plan three tiers — Free, Pro, and Lifetime. Final prices will be published on this page and shown in the App Store before the app is available. Nothing is charged until then, and this website does not sell any plan.
Device limit
Pro and Lifetime are planned to allow three active devices per LesHub account. The app shows the registered devices and lets you revoke one. Revoking a device frees a slot; it does not cancel your subscription. If a device is replaced, revoke the old one first to avoid hitting the limit.
Account deletion
When accounts are available: open Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account in the app. Deletion requires a fresh verification of the current account (email code or WeChat re-authorisation) and typing the confirmation phrase. The server deletes the account and its LesHub data; source files, downloaded videos, and the guest library on the device are not deleted. An Apple subscription remains active until cancelled in App Store settings.
If you cannot sign in, email info@leston.com.cn from the address associated with the account. Do not send a verification code or password.
NAS and SMB troubleshooting
- Use
smb://host/share(optionally/subfolder). Put the username and password in the separate fields, not in the URL. - Allow LesHub local-network access in macOS/iOS settings. Without it, SMB connections fail.
- Enable SMB2 or SMB3 on the NAS. SMB1 is not supported.
- If the NAS requires a special account or read-only share, make sure the account can list the folder and read at least 16 bytes of the file.
- Some containers and codecs cannot be decoded by the system player; use the VLC engine or download the file.
Baidu Netdisk
Baidu integration uses your own account and Baidu's web/private interfaces. Baidu may change endpoints, require additional verification, or limit access at any time. LesHub cannot bypass Baidu risk controls. If Baidu asks for SMS or a slider verification, complete it on Baidu's official page; the app resumes when the session is available. LesHub is not affiliated with Baidu and does not provide Baidu membership or bandwidth.
Playback
LesHub uses the system player for native containers and a bundled VLC engine for formats such as MKV, WebM, and RMVB. There is no transcoding. 4K/HDR playback depends on the file, the network, and the device; Dolby Vision, AV1, and very high-bitrate files are not guaranteed. If a file fails, the app explains whether the container, the codec, the network, or the source rejected the request.
Subtitles and audio
SRT and VTT sidecar subtitles are supported, including common language suffixes. ASS/SSA styling, embedded subtitle tracks, and audio-track switching are not available yet. They are on the roadmap, but no date is promised.
Privacy and data
NAS passwords, Baidu cookies, and local file paths stay in the device keychain. Account data, device registration, subscription status, and metadata queries are handled by the account and metadata services. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics. WeChat and China
WeChat native sign-in is planned for the China release. The global first release will not show a WeChat button if the WeChat integration is not approved and enabled. The China App Store listing additionally requires App filing; the app will not be listed in mainland China until that is complete.
Known limitations
- The app UI is currently Chinese-only; English localization is in progress.
- Cross-device sync, three-device enforcement, StoreKit purchases, and the account entitlement service are not implemented yet.
- WebDAV, FTP/FTPS, NFS, Android, Emby/Jellyfin/Plex, AirPlay/DLNA, PiP, ASS subtitles, and audio-track switching are not implemented.
- A public build will bundle real demo media; the current development build does not yet include it.
Reporting a problem
Email info@leston.com.cn with steps to reproduce. Please remove file names, NAS addresses, cookies, and account identifiers from screenshots if they are private. We may ask for a playback diagnostic (engine, container, codec, network speed) but never for your password.
