Terms of Use

These Terms are a draft prepared for the current LesHub design. They must be reviewed by qualified counsel before publication and updated to match the final subscription, lifetime, and China-specific terms. If you download LesHub from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Leston Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., No. 118, Building 20, Lane 83, Hongxiang North Road, Lingang New Area, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone ("LesHub", "we", "us"), governing your use of the LesHub applications, website at leshub.leston.com.cn, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it. The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country).

3. The Service

LesHub is a media library and player for files you own or are authorised to access. LesHub does not provide, sell, or stream a catalogue of films or television programmes. You choose the sources and files. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to access and play them.

The Service may include optional online features such as account sign-in, metadata lookup, purchase restoration, and device management. Some features require a network connection and third-party services.

4. Accounts and sign-in

You may need an account for purchases, cross-device features, and account recovery. You agree to provide accurate information, keep access to your email/WeChat/Apple account secure, and not share your account or device slots with others. We may suspend or terminate accounts used for abuse, fraud, or violations of these Terms.

You can delete your account in the app or by contacting us. Deleting a LesHub account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it in your App Store settings.

5. Plans, subscriptions, and lifetime purchases

5.1 Free plan

The Free plan is available without a paid subscription and may include limits such as a maximum number of sources. We may adjust Free limits with reasonable notice. The Free plan does not include cross-device sync.

5.2 Pro subscription

Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. The annual plan is planned to include a 7-day free trial. The trial is available only to eligible new subscribers, as determined by Apple. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid subscription at the price shown by the App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in App Store subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Prices, taxes, and trial eligibility are displayed by the App Store and may vary by region. If a price changes, Apple will provide notice and obtain consent where required.

5.3 Lifetime purchase

Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks the Pro tier for the LesHub apps on Apple platforms, subject to these Terms, the three-device limit, and the features actually available. It does not include separate future products or services that we price separately. Lifetime has no free trial.

5.4 Three-device limit

Pro and Lifetime include up to three active devices per LesHub account. Device status is enforced on the server. You can revoke a device in the app; revoking frees a slot and does not cancel a subscription. We may adjust the device limit for abuse prevention or operational reasons with notice where required.

5.5 Restores and refunds

Use "Restore Purchases" after reinstalling or changing devices. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue Apple refunds directly. If a purchase is revoked or refunded, the associated entitlement may be removed.

6. Licence and restrictions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service on devices you own or control. You may not:

copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Service, except as permitted by law;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
circumvent the three-device limit, subscription checks, authentication, or content protection;
use the Service to access content you are not authorised to access, or to infringe copyright or other rights;
interfere with the Service, its servers, or other users, or use it to distribute malware;
use automated means to scrape, overload, or resell the Service.

7. Your content and sources

You retain ownership of your files and credentials. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service (for example, sending a metadata query or processing a purchase). We do not claim ownership of your media.

You are responsible for your NAS, Baidu Netdisk, WebDAV, FTP, NFS, TMDB, Apple, WeChat, and other third-party accounts, and for complying with their terms. LesHub is not affiliated with those providers and does not control their availability, limits, or changes.

8. Third-party services

The Service may connect to third-party services, including Baidu Netdisk, TMDB, Apple, and (when enabled) WeChat. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or actions. Some features may stop working if a provider changes its interface or restricts access.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the Service, you acknowledge that account, device, purchase, and metadata data will be processed as described there.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, text, graphics, and the LesHub name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks, except as necessary to use the Service. Third-party components are licensed under their own terms; see Third-party notices.

Metadata and images are provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

11. Feedback

If you send us feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to improve the Service, without obligation to compensate you or keep it confidential. Do not send confidential information.

12. Availability, changes, and beta features

LesHub is in development. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and the Service may be interrupted. Features labelled "Planned", "In development", or "Later" are not available and are not a commitment to deliver them by a particular date. We may offer beta features that are unstable and may be changed or withdrawn.

We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part. If we discontinue a paid subscription, we will handle it in accordance with App Store rules and applicable law.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that any particular file, container, codec, resolution, HDR format, subtitle, network source, NAS, cloud drive, or third-party service will work. Playback depends on the file, the device, the network, and third-party services.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, media, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your licence ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the People's Republic of China have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

17. Apple-required terms

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store:

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, claims, or liabilities arising from the app, to the extent permitted by law.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You must comply with the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
Apple's payment terms apply to purchases and subscriptions. Apple handles refunds under its policies.
